Seitdem die Seite online ist, sind verschiedene Anfragen eingegangen, ob man die Maiksmännel käuflich erwerben kann.

Ich betreibe dies ausschließlich als Hobby und will mich keinerlei Zwängen unterwerfen. Die Ideen kommen spontan und manchmal bleibt ein angefangenes Männel auch mehrere Monate halbfertig liegen. Außerdem sollen die Maiksmännel Einzelstücke bleiben. An Massenproduktion habe ich keinen Spaß. Rechnet man zudem Material und Zeit müsste ein Männel - je nach Ausstattung und Aufwand -  zwischen 20 und 60 € kosten.

The answer is simpel and short: No, you can not buy one.

Making the Männels is solely a hobby and that's it. I want to be totally free in it. The ideas come as they come. Sometimes a Männel in process needs several weeks before I go on with it. Aside from that the Maiksmännels shall remain one of a kind. Bulk production would not be fun for me. Another reason is that a price calculation that includes time and material would lead to a price range between 20 and 60 € depending on expenditure of time plus raw materials and supplies.
